‘Fight Mosquitoes’ by Wishing Well Asia wins 2014 Gong Award
The newest award on the shelf at Wishing Well Asia, is a Silver Gong for their CG work in the ARS ‘Fight Mosquitoes’ campaign, designed by Dentsu in Singapore. For the three visuals – featuring Samurai, medieval knights and modern day soldiers – dozens of 3D figurines were painstakingly rendered in 3D and composited to form the spiral shape of the promoted product. The Silver in the Outdoor & Poster Category was given for ‘Soldiers’, while the combined works – including ‘Knights’ and ‘Samurai’ – reached another 7 finalist spots at the award show. Earlier this year the work made it into the final selection of the Cannes Lions and the AD Stars.
